A Note from Ms. MacEwan

Dear Cunniff Families,

Happy October! I cannot believe how quickly September flew by - the warm weather has kept it feeling like summer, but our students have been putting in WORK and the year is moving right along.

I am so looking forward to seeing as many of you as can make it to our upcoming Morning Meetings with Grownups (dates below). We know that it is not easy to take time out of your days to visit the school, and we so appreciate when you are able to do so. Please check out the section below for dates and details!

At the end of the month, we will be having our first round of Family-Teacher Conferences. Next week, you will receive a message from your child's classroom teacher via ParentSquare inviting you to sign up. You will sign up directly in ParentSquare, so please make sure to keep an eye out for communication from the teacher. We will have both virtual and in-person conference opportunities.

Thank you, and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend,

Julia

Introducing: Amanda Quaranto-Schulte

Family Engagement Facilitator

We are thrilled to announce a new position at the Cunniff: Family Engagement Facilitator. Amanda Quaranto-Schulte will be at the Cunniff full time (her office is located at the entrance to our Main Office). Please see below for her introduction, and do not be shy saying hello whenever you are in the building!

Hi Cunniff Families,
I'm Amanda Quaranto-Schulte, and I'm so excited to introduce myself as your new Family Engagement Facilitator. I joined the community in 2018 when my now-7th grader started kindergarten at the old Cunniff and my now-5th grader was in pre-k. Over the years, I have been inspired by the care and connection that makes our school community so special.
In this role, I’ll be working to ensure every family feels heard, included, and supported. You’ll see me at school events and hear from me regularly, as I work to stay connected and build relationships that reflect the diversity and strength of our community. My goal is to make sure every voice has a place at the table.

I can’t wait to meet you and learn how I can support you and your families! Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or thoughts you may have. I'm always happy to help.
