“Your Voice Matters ... POSTPONED

“Your Voice Matters: a Listening Session with BIPOC Families” POSTPONED
Posted on 10/20/2021

Due to feedback from the community and the timing of the “Your Voice Matters:  a Listening Session with BIPOC Families” scheduled for tomorrow evening, October 21, and in an effort to illustrate that we are indeed listening to meet the needs of all members of our community, we have decided to postpone the first listening session, date to be determined.

The purpose of this series of events is for the leaders of both the School and Police Departments to listen to concerns from our BIPOC families and to hear how to best meet the needs of our community.  With the facilitation of a professional mediator, our hope is that anyone who would like to share will be able to do so in a safe environment, where all can be heard and valued.  As soon as the date has been determined, we will send out a communication to the community.

Thank you for your understanding,

Dr. Galdston, Superintendent of Schools
